This article provides information on the "Read-Only" version of Cerbo. This version significantly reduces access to the system and is typically used in situations when a life event results in a temporary closure of the clinic.

Details

What is Read-Only?

"Read-Only" is a highly restricted version of Cerbo that allows you to access your existing data, while removing the ability to add new data or interact with the system for the purpose of seeing patients. It is typically used in circumstances when a life event results in a temporary closure of the clinic, and essentially puts your EHR in stasis until you are able to resume business. The Patient Portal is disabled while in Read-Only.

Things you can do in Read-Only:

  • Use your fax line
  • Export/fax patient data
  • Run financial & non-financial reports
  • View documents, encounter notes, and full patient history

Things you cannot do in Read-Only:

  • e-Prescribe
  • Add new users
  • Add patient data
  • Manage databases
  • Create encounter notes
  • Schedule appointments
  • Utilize the patient portal
  • Submit lab requisitions or receive lab results
  • Process payments of any kind (including automatic subscription payments)

Patient Portal

Patients will not be able to access the portal while in Read-Only, however, under Pt Portal > Patient Portal Settings you can create a patient-facing message on the portal home page with any details you would like them to be aware of. You will continue to have access to your outbound fax line if a patient requests a copy of their records.

Please reach out to payments@cer.bo if you would like to transition your EHR to the Read-Only version of Cerbo.
